Typewritten and bound transcript of an interview conducted by Michael Van Wagenen for the World War II Homefront Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 3 Oct. 1991. Hindmarsh, who was born in 1940, describes his early life in Provo, Utah. He recalls experiences during World War II, including his father's draft and release at the end of the war. He also talks about the impact that war had on his life.
